[10,015] Delivery of arms etc3

(1) A person who is licensed under section 4(1) of the Act to possess, use or carry arms or ammunition within the islands specified in Order 2(1) must within 21 days from the commencement of this Order—

• (a)deliver the arms or ammunition to the nearest police station, Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Sukanaivalu VC Barracks or Duke of Edinburgh Barracks; or
• (b)upon demand by a member of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces or Fiji Police Force, deliver such arms or ammunition in his or her possession to such member of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces or Fiji Police Force.

(2) A person who fails to comply with Order 2(2) or (3) or paragraph (1) commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of $400 or 6 months imprisonment.
